The fifth Mortal Kombat fighting game is the first to be designed exclusively for home consoles instead of the arcades. The game features a new 3D engine to support the familiar combination of weapon and hand-to-hand combat, but moves are now based on real-life martial arts styles, such as Crane, Snake, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, Tang Soo Doo, and more. Fighting styles can be switched at any time during a match, and the damage a character receives will be visible on his or her face, body, clothing, or movements.<br><br>Returning characters from the best-selling series include Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Cyrax, Jax, Raiden, Sonya, Kitana, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, and Reptile. Characters making their debut in Deadly Alliance include a female counterpart for Sub-Zero, a blind samurai, and a masked tribal warrior. Arenas take place in fully 3D environments, fraught with spiked pits, pools of acid, and other deadly hazards. New special moves and gruesome fatalities will also be included as the franchise makes its debut on the next-generation systems.

    Nostalgic Goodness!

    Well this game is not the best fighting game out there, it's a must-have for MK fans. It has a ton of unlockables including photos, videos, concept art and other things from previous MK games, making this a sort of museum for the 90's Mortal Kombat games. As for the copy I received, it came in great condition!

    Classic Game

    The first fully 3D Mortal Kombat game is a fun experience. A mix of new and klassic characters. The multiple fighting and weapon styles makes each character feel different. The first game to introduce the Krypt to unlock all kinds of cool MK related kontent adds a lot of replay value to try and unlock everything. One downside is each character has only 1 finishing move and some of them are not that great.
