Remember Road Rash for the Genesis? Now you can play the skull-bashing game of highway hijinks on your Game Boy Color. Hit the streets on your super bike and prepare for no-holds-barred motorcycle street racing where rules as well as fellow bikers are made to be broken.<br><br>Road Rash lets you take on fifteen of the meanest, nastiest rashers on the road through five difficulty levels, each level containing five tracks. To qualify on a track and advance, you must place among the top three finishers. The better your performance in a race, the more credits you earn.<br><br>Each race in this game is a battle as punks and road hazards slow your progress. You'll be attacked with chains, clubs, pipes and other weapons, but you can punch your enemies, take their weapons and wield them as your own. Police patrol the roads; if you are not careful, they will issue you a ticket.<br><br>Whenever you crash or collide with road hazards or other vehicles, your motorcycle will suffer damage. When your bike explodes from too much damage, the race will end and you can pay to repair your bike. You can also use your money to upgrade your bike. There are fifteen bikes available (such as the Shuriken 400 and Diablo 1000 N), each varying in horsepower, weight and cost. A password feature lets you save your bikes and your progress.<br><br>You can play Road Rash solo or race head-to-head against a friend. The two-player mode requires two cartridges, two systems and a Game Link cable.

    Great game!

    I have always liked Road Rash for the PC and this Gameboy Color one transfers well to this platform. Bought mine cartridge only. Don't need a manual.

    An excellent port of Road Rash for the gameboy

    Having played the sega genesis and ps1 port of this game, I can say that this port is closer to the 16 bit sega game than the original 32 bit ps1 port. For a gameboy game the graphics and gameplay are good. The limitations of the gameboy hardly hinder the enjoyable gameplay of this title. My only critiques are that sometimes the hit detection seems a little off while dodging cars and while the music resembles the sega port, it is not the best rendition. Overall a good mobile port of the 16 bit game for Nintendo and gameboy fanboys.
