    Great all-around lens

    The 50 is the "normal" lens for full-frame (and 35mm cameras) because it gives about the same angle of view that the human eye provides. This lens is special because is has a large maximum aperture of 1.4 which allows use in low light and also will produce great looking out-of-focus (bokeh) effects. I'm using this lens with a Sony LA-EA3 adapter on my Sony a7r Mark II e-mount camera. I use manual focus features with this lens on my a7r.

    Rokinon rocks

    I own the 14mm 2.8 and the 24mm 1.4 and just bought the 50mm 1.4. As usual Rokinon makes high quality lenses and sells them at more than reasonable prices. The lens is light and is very compatible with the Sony A7 cameras I own. Great lens.

    This 50mm lens is basic equipment for Sony Alpha users who may find themselves shooting in low light. Very sharp, clean, and compact. New in the box this lens goes for over $400. So this one I got for about half price (without the original box) and it is as good as new!

    Another quality Sony Lens

    I was glad to purchase this lens for a mid priced F1.4, 50mm A-mount. I like it, images are clear and sharp. I guess there are always those who will complain about a lens, but then again they probably complain about everything because they think they are so damn good. I bet if you try this lens you will like it, and the price want break the bank.
