Just what you need
We bought a Chef on eBay and the feet had completely worn away. We ordered these new feet and they were delivered quickly and were easy to fit with a sharp tap from a hammer. The result is great, the Chef can now stand on the worktop without scratching it and there is a flow of air to cool the motor. And the price was great too. Highly recommended. One word of warning, it is a bit fiddly removing the remains of the old feet. We used a skewer to dig out the rubber and a pair of bull nosed pliers to grip the pin. By the fifth foot we'd got the hang of it!We bought a Chef on eBay and the feet had completely worn away. Kenwood rubber feet
Tucked away under every Kenwood food mixer are five small rubber feet which stop the machine from moving around your kitchen work surface. Over time these little feet both compress and wear. Fitting new ones is a very easy and quick job that doesn't need any special tools - just a small pair of pliers and something to tap the new pins into place. Rubber feet are fine. Getting the old pins out is another matter! Strong, long-nosed pliers are required. I broke off the two I replaced an drilling them out is almost impossible because the pins are made of hardened steel and are set in the relatively soft aluminium casing. Doing it again I would make sure I had the correct pliers and try to using an anti-clockwise twisting action to get them out. Hope this helps others.Rubber feet are fine. If you haven't fitted these before (our Chef is 40+ and has worn out a few) you will have to work out how to dig out the remainder of the old feet so you can get pliers on the fixing pins (I used a small craft knife and little screwdriver).
