Disappointed by some of the actual photographs I instead turned to this marvellous print of the artists impression of a scene on the street. It seemed to capture more the vibrancy and explosion of colours Carnaby Street had at that time. The art work on the Lord John building . Along with the discreet street sign on one corner of the picture. For anyone who cherishes memories of the 60's this is a must.

    Ideal as a Christmas car for MG car fans

    I bought it for a friend that is in to MG cars. The picture is a really accurate depiction of the marque. I really appreciate the talent of the artist. It makes for a better Christmas card than the more usual Father Christmas/reindeer/Christmas tree/snow scenes.

    Hail a taxi at Euston.

    A lovely atmospheric view of Euston station with the so-called Doric Arch (there is no arch!) in the background. Malcolm Root is probably one of Britain’s finest transport painters and this card, showing an everyday scene on the streets of London, in the 1950s, is outstanding, without being sentimental. Highly recommended.

    Carnaby Street Greetings Card

    There are a lot of retro photographs of Carnaby Street you can buy yet this seems to capture the essence of that more dimensionally. The colours in what after all is only an "art card" are quite vivid. It's fantastic value for what it represents.
