    works okay but...

    The package included 2 metal plates. I used the smaller round plate and and stuck it to the back of my Droid Turbo. Used this way it held the phone tightly and didn't turn or shift around. But when I added my otter case and put the larger square plate to the back of the case, it couldn't handle the extra weight and the phone kept rotating sideways. A larger magnet would solve this problem. I also think the ball socket limits the range of motion of how I can place the phone, but I can live with that. I especially love the ease of installing the bracket and also how easy it is to place the phone without having to hassle with a clamp style mount This is a perfect bracket phone holder as long as you don't use a heavier protective case.
