    This CD cleaner really works & stopped a skipping problem with one player. However, it didn’t improve another skipping player which will need professional service. I’m so happy to have this cleaner as a first line of maintenance before spending money for diagnosis and repair. It’s got a tiny micro brush attached on the underside of the disc. You have to break the seal of the fluid bottle with something small like a watch repair screwdriver. You put a drop on the brush & follow the instructions.

    CD lens cleaner really works!

    I have a 30 year old Kenwood cd player, good brand, started skipping. Got the CD lens cleaner disc with the liquid. One drop on the tiny brush on the cd and inserted it into the player. Ran it a few times to make sure the lens was clean. Result- no more skipping. Worked like a charm.

    Good, but not for me.

    It did not prevent my player from taking forever to activate, but in fairness, maybe this is not due to a dirty lens issue. Perhaps this product would warrant a 5 star rating when used by others.
