Terms and conditions of the sale
Confirmation of dispatch emails are sent to the email address associated with your PayPal account when we process your order. This email will include your invoice as a PDF attachment. VAT is included on UK orders, and excluded on overseas orders over the IOSS value amount.
 
We ship with FedEx, TNT, Business Post, Palletways, and sometimes a local sameday courier. All items are insured in transit and we fix any problems that arise from transit. Most orders will be delivered next working day (cut off time applies). Some UK postcodes are not guaranteed 24 hour delivery. International orders take longer, and vary on the country shipping to. We use the Palletways network for larger items or high quantity orders.
 
We use custom made cartons and micro pallets as appropriate to pack. Please bear in mind the P&P charge is for postage and packaging costs which is substantial when sending heavy items.
 
Please provide a contact number for delivery. This enables tracking updates when available, and more generally, the courier will have the option to contact you if they have difficulties finding the address. this is especially important for international orders. We treat your phone number as confidential information and do not distribute them. If the item is returned to us after a failed delivery attempt, we may need to charge shipping again before re-sending if you have not provided this (at our discretion).
 
If goods need to be returned, the customer bears the expense of return shipping, and is liable for protecting the goods against damage on the return trip. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee if necessary. Examples of when we would do this is when the customer changes their mind or bought something that does not fit. This is does not effect your right to return under EU DSR which we uphold in their most current form. All returns should be authorised by us in advance, and should be shipped with a traceable courier that provides POD "proof of delivery" signature confirmation. Insurance is at the customers discretion. If the customer make a discretionary return (ie not due to fault or mistake by ourselves) then we deduct the outbound shipping cost from the refund amount. This includes deducting shipping costs incurred on free of charge shipping items.
 
We ship to the address provided on the order.
The invoice will be made out to the details / address that appear on the eBay order system.

    The SUA1500 version but upgraded

    I used to have the SUA 1500 UPS and traded it up for one of these cookies. The older model was good, but the new units are much more pro for the price. They have load shedding to squeeze that bit more out of a lenghty mains down scenario as well as power factor correction (only for the connected loads) and efficiency calculations when you stray from the basic functions. The same size unit now covers a kilowatt instead of 970 watts, to show that it is more efficient and it can handle a surging load for a second longer before the toys go everywhere. The direct menu setup is far better for general configuration even if you are not running the ups for a desktop and the ability to see the runtime without having to resort to that powerchute software is highly favoured in my book.     The output stage of this UPS is defective... With brand new batteries and load of 100W connected to it, once you remove the main power, the UPS starts to show load of 300-500W, without any actual changes in the load. Also the output frequency goes up to 150Hz, which is very dangerous and can make more damage to the electronics it is used to protect.

    Great kit at a great price!

    I've bought a couple of these now and although the units are around 8 years old they are in good condition with brand new batteries installed for not much more than the cost of the batteries alone. They also come with a years warranty so what's not to like!

    and upgrade to APC Smart-Ups 1500

    the ribbon connecting the front panel with the motherboard has connectors, which is much better than the previous version of the tower - APC Smart-Ups 1500 - that was soldered directly and after some time snapped. the screen is a bonus and is not louder than my previous one.
