Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in IC Sockets
I use IC sockets when I make repairs on circuit boards - replacing integrated circuits.. I prefer this type with the round pin insertion holes instead of the other version that have the more flat "pinch insert" type of contacts... namely because they have a lower profile and do not raise the installed IC as high off the board.. this sometimes matters... I find these sockets to meet my needs exactly.. They are of good build quality, and clasp the IC pins firmly. It is a bit mored difficult to insert IC into these but that gets easier with experience. The IC pins are firmely clasped by the sockets, and I always have confidence that the circuits are intact when an IC is inserted. Soldering these sockets to the board is easy and the pins readily accept solder. The finished product pretty well looks to be OEM.
