      Simple to build and use micro controller

      Needed a simple controller for project using i2c and serial connections to other devices (display and GPS / compass) and this is more than capable. Great item. Many thanks.

      40 pin socket didn't fit the circuit board.

      The pins on the 40 way socket provided were either too big or the holes drilled in the board were too small. Drilling out the holes to fit was hit and miss as the pad size was too small to accomodate the bigger pin size. I am carrying out repairs to fix the issue, but is not something a beginner may be able to carry out.
