    This was the same style of bean slicer that we've always had, our old one is no longer as sharp as it was. When I started to use this one, I found it really easy to use but then realised that the blades are further apart than on our old slicer so the bean slices are much thicker, which is fine if you like thicker slices. I can't fault it, it is a matter of personal choice. Arrived several days later than original date given.
