easy to use even if you don't have a smoke box. Just make a pouch from foil, two to three layers thick, wrap the chips in it then puncture some holes in ti top and bottom to let the air in and the smoke out. If you have a foil container (ex-takeaway) put it in it, fold it over and puncture it, voila.
