I put the flymo together. My only observation is the big plastic bolt holding the blade was manufacturer tight. Eventually I managed to move it to prepare the flymo by putting a screwdriver in a space underneath the blades. This kept the blades in place and enabled me to forcefully use the spanner to loosen it. I believe the tight bolt is a regular problem . Once I figured out how to loosen it safely it was easy as the blade stayed still.

The Flymo, refurbished. If we'd not known, we would have accepted it as new, unused - it was unmarked. The one flaw was the delivery. We were in the house when it came, and our porch is always unlocked. The person delivering it for whatever reason, left it outside, hidden from our view, and it rained. It could have ruined any contents that were vulnerable, and there was absolutely no reason for it to have been left outside - too much trouble to open a door?
