    Good quality product.

    Perfectly good product. Only issue is it does not fit later Morris Minors with a cable operated heater as the revised copper feed pipe does not clear this shape of thermostat cover. Confusing as the same part number gets used for both versions of this part. My mistake as I had overlooked this factor.

    Higher outlet hose point.

    This was is a good product but I think it is a mini thermostat housing as apposed to the flatter on a Morris Minor, the hose outlet is higher and makes the heater hose...metal fixed to the engine cylinder head bolts difficult and very tight for easy removal. It would be necessary to remove two nuts on the cylinder head prior to getting access to the housing for removal and refitting of a thermostat.

    It fits the car better than the one it replaces, because that one (corroded beyond repair anyway) was from a different car anyway and did not fit properly.
