In fairness the seller does say that if the lights are flashing then there could well be a problem with the motor. The lights were alternating on either end of the controller. If the motor is connected direct it seems to run perfectly well so watch this space for an update.

The controller worked well but cuts out on maximum high speed extract. I have yet to find a reason for this. The max speeds for intake and extract probably will not be used anyway as at that speed the fan becomes fairly noisy.

The circuit board on the switch has a clear protective layer to stop moisture ingress, although it doesn't show on the photo. I haven't had time to fit it yet, weekend coming, so can't comment on whether it has solved my problem...but hopefully! Thank you Sarah....Kenmore Caravans.
