    Perfect solution and easy to fit

    This was just what I needed to enable me to install the disk of my choice in my 27inch mid 2010 iMac. When I bought the iMac (second hand) it had a non Apple installed hard drive and the thermal sensors not working. The fans were kicking in straight away and it was also running very hot. Now, after installing a hybrid drive and using this inline sensor, everything is running beautifully.

    Recommended for iMac HDD replacement

    Works perfectly to be able to replace the HDD with a SSD without all the associated problems of fans running constantly at 100%. I used for a late 2009 27" iMac. A bit expensive for what it amounts to in terms of components, but does the job and is well made

    Great cable, only downside the price...

    Fantastic cable and really does the job. Expensive for what it is though. If your original drive fails (or you want to upgrade to a SSD), then you'll need one. Just wish it was a bit cheaper!
