Not quite the point......
A good item, well made and certainly sharpens the blade. However trying to get the end of the blade sharpened almost always results in the tip hitting the 'shoulder' below the sharpening section as you pull the blade across the sharpening areas. This is certainly not a 'deal breaker' and if the 'shoulders' were smaller I wouldn't hesitate in giving it 5 stars. Being left/right handed makes it possible for all to use it and the identification of each section 'should' ensure it is used as intended......coarse through to finish stone. Would I recommend it? At last a sharpener that works
Really good did not quite a few passes through the sharpener but the knives were blunt I am unsure whether as a few others have said that maybe the tip of the deadest is hitting the base plate as it leaves the end of the stroke Stoll no complaints

Sadly not for me.
Sadly, for me it didn't do any good. It might just be me but when I tried to sharpen a knife it felt no different and cut just the same. Maybe I didn't do it right or maybe the sharpener just isn't that good but for me personally it'll just go in the bin.
