I don't think it happened during shipping (was sent in a bubble mailer) but maybe it was finished off during shipping (perhaps the spool was cracked?). Doesn't affect the bus wire though and all is well. The spool was black unlike the photo however. Not a biggie at all, seller is fast shipping and reliable.
