Poor Security product, not suitable for its intended use
The Rhino Pipe Tube Pro advertises that it is manufactured from Aluminium, in fact it is made from Aluminium & Plastic ( other makes like Van Guard tell the truth) The Hinge is moulded from plastic with a metal pin, but the week part is the plastic and this can easily break (see photos of the rear end cap where the plastic hinge has broken) After contacting the supplier and informing them that within a week the PLASTIC hinge had snapped, we were told that they could replace this but we would have to pay, then they told us that the manufacture Rhino does not have any stock and could not give a date when the part would be available. To be able to use the Tube to carry pipe we had to repair the hinge ourselves using a piece of 316 stainless steel piano hinge, In conclusion the materials ...
