    Classic Dr Who

    For many years this story was missing ,with only episode one surviving to give us taste of what is one of the best DR Who stories Now fully restored back to glory it's brilliant ,the Doctor Victoria and Jamie find themselves suspended in space ,with a mysterious web holding the outside of the Tardis . most of the story takes place down the London underground system ,and a combination of old black and white film footage and the creepy BBC electronic music sounds ,really add to the eerie atmosphere . there is a strong sense of menage throughout ,the enemy is the yeti ,and they are superb as the hairy creatures who are trying to take over the world with mind control . this episode is also the first time we see the appearance of Brigadier Leftbridge Stuart ,the man who would with the doctor ...

    This story is a great. Patrick Troughton and the rest of the cast deliver excellent performances. Although episode 3 is currently missing it is represented by a reconstruction using photographs which is adequate and doesnt detract from the enjoyment of viewing this story.

    This is brilliant, of course, it's the Web of Fear! However,m this DVD has no extras, at all, which is disappointing, especially in light of the fact that these episodes were recovered and remastered.
