It would be helpful if it was pointed out that these items have absolutely no charge in them to start with. They do not function without any charge, even to show that they are charging or not. It’s very easy to convince oneself that the unit is faulty. I was just about to send ours back, when the indicator lights decided to reveal them selves. It would have been worth knowing this to start with.

The strap that arrived was official apple product in an apple box. The box was open as stated but the product inside was clean and not used. It was the exact product on the photos. The seller was transparent about how they got these products and had good communication. I would buy these again at half the price of new straps. I would avoid other sellers that do not disclose how they obtain these straps to avoid fakes. Very pleased with this one.
