    Deck For Life

    These are simply the best DJ turntable there is or ever has been. I used to sell these for a living in a shop. If anyone asked which DJ decks to buy, I would always say, " There is only one, Technics 1200/1210s are a deck for life" and they are, it is very rare that anything goes wrong with them, and if on the rare occasion it does, parts are always available and they are fairly easy to fix. I still bump into people now that bought them from my nearly 20 years ago, and they still have them to this day. 5 Stars and more if there were more to tick.

    The cost doesn't matter because the product brings so much happiness!

    Well what can I say, there brand new top end Technics. They have the same "character" as the older modles. The extra functions of being able to adjust the pitch range +-8% to +-16% are not just useful but in fact essential to a creative DJ. Cut a long story short I love them, hate nothing about them, have installed Ortofon QBert cartridges (which sound awesome) and the oxygen free wiring really does make a world of difference to the sound quality. Money well spent and yes I would do it again!

    Modified 1210 mk2

    I have a lone 1210 mk3 which has been sitting around for over a year while I tried to find it a partner. I'd given up looking until I chanced upon this modified mk2 and its partner in separate auctions. I bid for both but was happy to get just one as the modified dipless pitch control makes it an almost perfect partner for my mk3. It also has had the RCA cable changed for one of much higher quality, and all the lights have been changed to groovy blue LED's. The modified mk2 has the dipless pitch that makes the mk3 so good, plus better quality signal cables and aesthetically pleasing lighting. Now I need to upgrade the cabling and lights on the mk3 to get it up to scratch! Chuffed.
