    Not essential, but worth the money if you feel you need it.

    Plain and simple, the reason I bought this specific collection was for all the instrumental takes of songs from the album. I'm a huge fan of being able to listen to familiar songs with the vocals stripped away. So for me, this collection was a must have, albeit a reluctant one, since I would have rather spent the money on something else. However, this set was not getting any cheaper, and it really is a nicely put together collection. The box is nice, the book is neat, the magnet is fun, and obviously the recordings are great. I have not watched the DVD, but hopefully it was recorded on a night when Nirvana was ON, as their live stuff is hit or miss. Either amazing or disappointing. Overall, if you have the cash to spend, I'd recommend this collection. It isn't essential, though it does ...

    No talent? Lmao

    That salty reviewer above: its great you got clean, but you got some of that addict thinking still lingering. The creative energy, talent, and genius that came from him is undeniable. The best art has come from the most troubled souls. Kurts addiction killed him but even as messed up as he was physically and psychologically he gave some brilliant performances and wrote timeless songs. And ive enjoyed his work sober the whole time, its sloppy and messy, funny, brilliant , infectious, and has almost infinite replay value. His legend was earned and deserved. Misdirect that anger somewhere else.
