I wanted to make loops that could be embedded in clay and survive a stoneware kiln firing (up to 1,250C/cone 6) without becoming brittle or tarnishing. The wire performed well with minimal discolouration and staying flexible post-firing. Also didn't crack the clay around the insertion point. See photos for test piece and examples of what I'm using them for (still currently raw).
