Excellent product at really good price
I haven't used shampoo for a year now, and have mostly been using As I Am. I started with a more pricey brand (4 x the price of this), which was great but this is just as good. I have medium length wavy blonde hair, which is naturally a bit dry and frizzy, and using a co wash instead of shampoo has really improved the quality of my hair, reduced frizz and increased shine. The other reason I thought I'd try cutting out shampoo is to reduce the amount of harsh chemicals I put on my hair and wash down the drain (into our rivers and seas). It took about four weeks for my hair and scalp to get used to no shampoo and since then it's been great. I also don't need to wash my hair so often as it doesn't get greasy so quickly.I haven't used shampoo for a year now, and have mostly been using As I Am. Wonderful Co Wash.
I was very sceptical when I bought this as to whether it would be any good, I'm glad to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. I have very dry, fine 3A naturally curly hair and I have just started on my curly girl method journey. This co wash does a great job of both cleansing and conditioning my hair, although I do still need an additional conditioning product after using this because my hair is so dry and knotty. It smells lovely, but is not too overpowering. It doesn't lather up like a conventional shampoo, but I think that is to be expected from a more moisturising product. I have used this a few times now and I have already noticed that my curls are more defined and less frizzy, although this is with the use of a combination of products. Overall a very good product ... It's a nice cowash. My curls/coils are left soft, clean and defined. I can finger detangle alright with this but it didn't give me the slip that I was expecting. Smells good too. After using this the first time, I skipped DC and applied my Beautiful Textures Leave-In and Cantu moisturiser then put my hair in twists. The cowash is good for removing gel and creams without leaving your hair hard and stripped.It's a nice cowash. My curls/coils are left soft, clean and defined. Bought this to try and sort out my dry hair , always went fluffy and weird . Using this has tamed my frizz and given me soft shiny waves . Didn't realise how wavy , slightly curly my hair was ! Smells amazing and the tub is huge ! Lovely stuff

I have very dry, very thick curly hair and I am always having trouble finding the right serums and oils for my hair to make it stop frizzing and not look like hay. Although it doesn’t soap up in your hair like normal shampoos which took a while to get used to, I have found my hair to look and feel so much better. My curls are more bouncy and I don’t need to put so much serums and oils in my hair after I wash it. I will carry on using cleansing conditioners from now on. Game changer!
