Converts HDMI to VGA output
I purchased this converter so I could run my Android TV Box with a HDMI output on a monitor which only had a VGA input. It did a perfect job and gave a good picture on the monitor, I can highly recommend this item for this sort of requirement I had to connect the sound separately as the VGA connector has no audio connections. The converter was provided at a reasonable price and delivery was prompt.I purchased this converter so I could run my Android TV Box with a HDMI output on a monitor which only had a VGA input. Worked 50% of the time.
Bought this unit to add a second screen to my pc. First time I plugged it in and switched on, worked no problems, and I was made up. The second time I used the pc, the screen stayed blank and no signal was picked up. Switched off, unplugged and retried and it worked again.. hiccup I thought. The 4th time switching on, I had the same problem and no signal. Went for a dvi to vga converter instead which so far has worked perfectly.Bought this unit to add a second screen to my pc. Great Product, Cheap, 1080p Output! 👍🏻
I was a little sceptical when buying this, however it arrived quickly and worked perfectly when plugged in. It is 1080p compatible, but is dependant on your monitor/tv and the quality of your VGA cable. But, the genuine build quality of the product isn’t very good, and could become loose or broken if misused. On the whole, cheap, 1080p, arrived quickly, works fine!

Works well on PC laptop. prompt delivery. When I tried it on the HDMI o/p of a fellow lecturer's Mac PowerBook the latter did not recognise the connection & didn't offer mirroring. This probably relates to the Mac setup & a Thunderbolt / Mini DV to VGA adaptor is required.
