A useful bit of kit.
I bought this to open a plastic lid on a weed sprayer (about 120mm diameter) that I could not get off. The larger tool did the job successfully and it will now be part of my workshop kit (used once in a blue moon, but, essential on those occasions). The smaller tool is now in the kitchen for my wife, who often has problems with bottle tops, jam jars, etc. - she finds it works well for these jobs.I bought this to open a plastic lid on a weed sprayer (about 120mm diameter) that I could not get off. Total garbage
I had trouble getting off the oil filter on my Nissan Note so I purchased this DRAPER 43863 2 PIECE OIL FILTER STRAP WRENCH but it turned out that it was impossible to get it off using either of the straps as they would slip on the filter making it near impossible to get a good enough grip on it no matter how hard I tried, even when it seemed that the grip was there it just wasn't enough to budge the filter. After a couple of attempts the teeth on the small strapped wore out and i eventually gave up on this product. I ended up buying the metal strap wrench model for half the price of this, and was blown away to see how much much better it was, clamped onto the filter twisted and off it went, and so did the Draper, in the rubbish bin. I was fooled into thinking a big brand would only sell ... Totaly Useless
Purchased these for my elderly parents to use getting large lids of jars we have tried to other type that grip the top of the lid also useless so purchased these still no good the rubber just slips round the lid as you try to use them
