    One of the Best of All Times

    This will move you to heights of joy and lower you to the depths of sorrow as you hear the story of one man's journey through this unforgiving and often confusing thing we call Life. The voices will haunt you long after the show is over. The singers are incredible! You will sing along with them as the story unfolds. And you will sing them long afterwards as well. You will find yourself in this epic story. One of these characters will seem familiar to you. That's because this story could be mine or yours. Time is flying by, use it wisely. We never know what will happen at the End of the Day.

    Poor quality DVD

    The sound quality of this recording is very flat. It is definitely not Dolby and this is very disappointing because I recorded it from TV when it originally aired and the sound quality was amazing! Unfortunately, that recording was lost thanks to Comcast so I bought this to replace it. This DVD is also not HD, but I could live with the mediocre picture quality if the sound was of the quality expected.

    A great musical at a fantastic price.

    Love the 25th anniversary production of "Les Miserables". Alfe Boe and the entire cast were fantastic. The music, powerful and beautiful. As good as an Andrew Lloyd Webber production. The price, roughly ½ what you'd expect to pay for a brand new copy still in shrink wrap.

THIS 25TH Anniversary special with over 100 PC orchestra, Choir, 4 tenors , actors from 1st UK LM, students who were in school version, made for an extra ordinary musical thrill.     Amazing!

    If you love the music of Les Mis, this is a must-have DVD. They don't actually perform the play on stage, they come out and sing the music while in costume. The voices are powerful and amazing. I love Norm Lewis as Javert.
