    Not a good purchase on my part.

    1. The machine work on the derailleur attachment bolt was poorly done and made it almost impossible to mount. 2. The cages were bent, so alignment to allow proper shifting couldn’t be accomplished. Had to go back and repair my 1998 XTR derailleur, which now works great! Live and learn! Corky.

    Finally found what I need.

    I am new to derailleur replacement. Was not not aware of deferent cage lengths. I am now aware of (short-medium-long) cages and which one my bike needs. Almost no site had all three and did not advertise them. I had to search for about three weeks to find what I need.

    Cheap but effective

    In a world of expensive bicycle jewelry components, the microSHIFT M26 is refreshing in that it is none of that. It's as basic as a rear derailleur can be, yet it works. Perfect to keep a 1993 Rockhopper hopping.
