Toaster appears flimsy but identical model lasted about seven years. Attractive 'retro' design, grey a bit insipid, previous was a good red. Not the best in terms of function, can't really accommodate large slices or thick items, previous would have lasted longer had I not abused it by squeezing in sandwiches to toast. Having had at least six toasters over a period of 40+ years, and using many in others' homes, I find this as good as any and more reliable than many more expensive brands/models.

    Slightly disappointing

    I'm very pleased that it doesn't take up much counter space, looks good and works well. My only disappointment is that the slots are only wide enough for sliced bread. Crumpets or sliced buns get jammed
