The best car part that i have bought for many a year...Fact!!
I was not expecting much for the price but i was wrong. Not wanting to spend too much on a 18 year old clio, but fed up of being bashed on the head by the tailgate i ordered these struts. I am so glad i did...You do not realise how heavy even a small tailgate is until you take off the struts...It is then that you realise the working pressure the struts have to be. Took me a couple of minutes to remove the clips holding the strut ends on ,and propped up the tailgate with an old broom.. Clipped on these struts in a matter of seconds and then removed broom. Stand back in awe as the tailgate stays up. Further amazed at the good pull needed to close it ! Press button to open and with a small pull the tailgate is up smoothly just like new. Without a doubt, ,the best £12-50 i have spent on ... I was not expecting much for the price but i was wrong.
