    Blackboard Paint

    Excellent product, easy to apply, good coverage, dries to a really smooth matt finish. I used it to coat some plywood and if you are to use it for something similar I would recommend using 2 coats. It is very important that the product is stirred quite vigorously before each use. All-in-all a very good product, requiring little practical skill to apply.

    Poor quality tin - far too thin.

    The tin is far too weak - in trying to ease of the lid, the metal buckled and by the time the lid came off, the vessel was mangled. Whilst the product is good (if not a little thick), I expect the next time I use it, it will be totally dried out as the lid does not seal at all.

    I would not use this again

    This paint is like tar and VERY strong smelling. Although it is thick it doesn’t cover very well. After the first coat the finish was glossy, two coats gave a patchy matt finish. It really needed 3 coats but it smelled so strongly I didn’t want to.

    Chalkboard paint....don't buy

    The paint is easily applied and the finished surface looked well however the chalk does not rub off completely.....the first photograph shows the board after a dry rub followed by a wet rub. The second photograph shows it after a dry rub only.
