This is very strange product. Clearly there has been enormous investment in machinery to make it but why it is made from veneered chipboard when MDF is available and cheap is a mystery. Not withstanding the trimming allowance, the install was doubled in length by a long process of extracting sawdust from the cavity I had to make to install the handles and latch. Lovely veneer and glass let down by failure to use MDF or blackboard for the core. Back to solid oak for the rest of the project.
