    Great item sofar been on my 96 eclipse for 2 months now I believe and it's the best performance muffler out there I love it and sounds amazing everyone likes it too. Nice mellow humming even though the fitment wasn't just right I should of went with a straight cylinder but 5stars

    Great lower priced performance muffler.

    First thing to understand is that this is a straight through glass packed muffler. It doesn't have chambers like one might assume with a typical Flowmaster. I knew this before I bought it by other people's complaints who were expecting it to have the typical FM chambers. I think this could upset a lot of people because that isn't easy to understand by the description, and people just think Flowmaster means chamber muffler. With that out of the way, for my use on a '50's car, I wanted the smoother deeper glass pack tone, which it is. It is a bit louder out of the box than I thought it would be, but it's acceptable. In theory, by design this style should last a lot longer than a standard tube glass pack as there is much more packing inside than a standard glasspack's round shell can fit. It ...
