So far, in changeable weather, it has proved warm, weatherproof and comfortable, with wrist closure that enables my 4 season gauntlets to been worn over the wrist, without bunching the material. The mandarin collar makes wearing a 'Buff' more a necessity. Shame there aren't 2 small outer sleeve pockets for keys and cards. See if it lasts the 10 yrs of my Spada
