      Great Hard Drive

      This was a brand new, mint condition hard drive, bought to replace my old 60 GB Hitachi hard drive that crashed and stopped working after 4 years of heavy usage. For the price ($50), I thought it was a great value. Installation was super simple, just removed and replaced a few screws, installed one jumper, loaded the operating system, loaded a few drivers, and bingo! my laptop was alive again. I am glad I checked Ebay first, this could have been a much more expensive repair if I had gone through a computer repair shop.

      PERFECT Great Product/Great Seller/EZ TO INSTALL

      This is an absolutely fantastic Laptop Hard drive...a true value. I thought to get a new laptop with more space, etc...this was an ez install and will likely easily give me 5 more years out of my Laptop... EZ install too...I never opened a computer before; but this was a breeze...it's easy to look up how to install over the net. Thank you!

      Great value for money. Excellent IDE 2.5" Hard Drive.

      For the value in money-this thing is absolutely fantastic. It's a fresh, new IDE 80GB drive, and 80GB is a lot for laptops with IDE. It's perfect for anyone who knows how to use these things, and can install their own software and install Hard Drives.

      This is a hard drive that could compete with WD drives in performance.

      It does exactly what it's supposed to, and according to specs operates a little faster than Western Digital Scorpio blue drives (PATA). I haven't had a chance to test that yet but now that it's in the laptop the DVD drive and fans are the ones generating the most noise.
