    Practical Blessings

    I actually found this book in the local Library and read it. It was nothing short of terrific! I enjoyed the book so much, that I bought this one on eBay and had it mailed to a friend. The friend loved the book too! Ms.Macomber has great ideas and insights into so much. I have always refused to give anything to Panhandlers because I did not want to enable their drug or alcohol addiction. She tells how different people solved that problem, from buy warm gloves for a Homeless Man and giving Gift cards at fast food restaurants so the person gets food instead of money which they would otherwise spend on drugs or alcohol. But, there is so much more in this small book! I highly recommend this book for just about anyone.

    One Simiple Act by debbie Macomber

    This book was excellent. I want to be a generous giver and do it with the right heart. Debbie Macomber shares how you can do even small things (such as paying the person's toll fee behind you) and how it is all about opening your heart and not about what kind of $ you spend- Like the lad with the loaves and fishes in the Bible, it was about being available and giving all he had - not how much he had and as she says over and over- it's about multiplication. God multiples many times over what we give- An excellent book- in these hard times, it is still nice to feel you can help even in a small way and make your life count.

    One Simple Act by Debbie Macomber

    This is a great book about being generous. Debbie is a great author and this book is very easy to read. Stories and chapters are both small. I don't care to read books where the chapters are long. I passed it on to some of the girls at church to read. They loved it and are now preparing to have a ladies Bible class with this book. I would highly recommend this book.

    What the world needs now is our caring for each other.

    This book is a warm read. It helps us to think of someone instead of just ourselves. From the stories told and examples given it teaches in an easily understood manner. It is a book meant to help our world be a little better, respectful of others and caring. At a time in my life when I was over whelmed it helped me to come up to the surface and gain perspective. I highly recommend this book.

    Wonderful book - makes you think with your heart.

    I am a big fan of Debbie Macomber and when I saw this book and read up on the information about it - I had to buy it. The author has a way of reaching into peoples hearts and makes you think. Just a wonderful book!
