    Great Coffee

    I've used many Delonghi machines and they tend to last a good time if looked after. This machine is a little different with the control of water but still is perfectly good at making a fantastic coffee at a good price.

    Looks good, sounds good, makes good coffee but an utter pain to own and use.

    Pros - It does make a lovely coffee Cons - Takes a while to get ready to use and always pumps water into the cup drip tray which hold little volume, so you need to keep a spare up under the dispenser every time you turn it on and off, yes it does it again before going to sleep The water tank is very small for UK use, it's an esspresso machine not a "cup of coffee" machine, so double cycles for a cup soon empties the water tank. It decides to have a descale cycle on number of use's, this process is a pain in arse.

    Disjointed instructions

    Upon receipt of the machine, it took me sometime to understand how to brew coffee. The instructions go into great detail on all the parts of the machine, but do not take you through the brewing process. It was very much a hit and miss operation to get a decent cup of coffee. However, after about three days of experimenting, I have now got the gist of it, and am enjoying the coffee.

    As long as you buy decent beans you can’t fail to get a good cup of coffee.It’s a very easy machine to operate and easy to clean.It’s not too bulky and doesn’t take too much space on the work counter.
