A clean, fresh, brand-new book, packaged with lots of care and attention and then delivered swiftly. I bought it for a class project involving alteration of all the pages with collages and paint, but it's so nice that I don't have the heart to ruin it. Doesn't work with Windows 10
It was not clear in the posting that this product would not work with Windows 10. I'm still trying to find a workaround, but at this point it's useless to me. Clearly, though, the product is what it was claimed to be and does turn on and connect - there's just no driver immediately available. Caveat emptor.

Fjuitsu fi-4120C Desktop Scanner
This scanner is small and compact, fits well on the desk, and is a solid workhorse with a fairly fast scan speed. It is, of course, an older model now, having been replased with the fi-6180, which is also a great machine. The only difficulty with this scanner, is it does not work with Vista 64 or Windows 7 operating systems, without some kind of workaround. It does work with Vista 32. I was able to set up a virtual machine on my Windows 7 system, and install the Windows XP operating system. The machine works great this way. You will have to also install Adobe if you want to create PDFs. If you want to scan to JPEG or other formats, download the Scandall21_4317 software from Fujitsu along with the Fujitsu 9145x3v driver. AMAZINGLY PRODUCTIVE!
I have been a tech-head all my life. 20+ years in Printing, Publishing then over a decade in IT. I've used flatbeds, handhelds, camera stands everything to image and nothing worked as well as this little machine! I'm on my 2nd used one!

Good value, reliable scanner
Very easy set-up, simple to use and very forgiving when the paper is not fed in straight. Quite speedy for a small device and takes up relatively small desk space. Scans are excellent and the device works with most programs.

I bought this particular scanner as a direct request from a customer who I often buy office equipment for. My primary experience is with HP Scanners, so buying a Fujitsu was new for me. I found machine to be a little smaller than expected, but operation was quiet and it handled a stack of originals quickly. Their software interface (drivers were not included but easily found online) made crisp, OCR capable scans from the get-go. The trays are a little flimsy and online research shows them prone to breakage.
