Black and decker power scorpion saw . Its not bad max with to cut upto would be 4 x4 inch timber .
I thought the actual power saw its self would have been a bit bigger in size , but it does its job . Floor boards no problem. Max thickness of timber would be 4x4 inch any more than that would struggle. Jigsaw is good . Replacement blades a bit over expensive than i thought. But all in all , a two in one tool thats not bad to have in you shed , you can easily do a decking project with ease with the scorpion saw . Good enough for my use
Had one before eventually the pins which hold the blade housing snapped but had had good useage from it.The blade release mechanism does become a wobbly with use. Even with these quirks it remains the best DYe hand saw I know

Worthwhile purchase
I've had one of these B&D Scorpions for many years until it gave up the ghost last autumn. It had served well, mainly in the garden: cutting away dead wood, shaping bushes, even cutting down trees. And the latter was the first task for the new tool - cutting down an underperforming 40-year-old apple tree and rendering it suitable for the garden-waste bin. It would not have been possible to do it with a manual saw - beyond my physical powers (I'm in my 80's). The safety features are well thought out and the mechanism is tough and foolproof. Smooth action
Had a very old one (15 years plus) of these and a DIY shed own brand one. The B and D version had a much smoother action and when the old one died I used the own brand one for about 15 minutes and then decided to buy another B and D as my fingers had started tingling.

GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS
The product itself is effective, but it is not long before the blade works loose within its housing, making it very difficult to start the cut. There is not other product that I can find on the market, regardless of prices, that will cut through thick timber, like fence posts, skirting boards etc. like this model.
