      Permanent?.....time will tell!

      These pens were purchased mainly to write on plastic plant labels. They therefore have to be compatible with the plastic, waterproof and do not fade in sunlight. They satisfy the first two requirements admirably and only time will tell whether the ink fades or not. I have tried many different brands over the years and these are the most promising so far!

      Stabilo pens are outstanding.

      I have tried all sorts of permanent black pens, but these seem to be the best for writing on all surfaces. The gel rollerballs are good but not quite as universal as these. The write-for-all pens are also pleasant to use but you have to be careful to always replace the cap after use, to stop them drying out, and prevent ink contamination as it can be a devil to remove.

      Weatherproof Ink!

      Great pens, we use them for all sorts as they write on many different surfaces from plastic garden labels, kitchen food bags to marking a measurement in woodworking projects. Excellent value when you buy a box at a time.
