A light more than Police Greatest Hits
I own a previously released Police collection of greatest hits, but this Police collection had over double the songs. I especially wanted 'Synchronicity II'. There were a few tracks that I wasn't familiar with. This release is for someone who wants more than the usual greatest hits. There is even a CD sized poster included in the box set...of 2 Cd's. All the best cuts, off the five Police studio albums
I always liked The Police during there time as a group. I never did purchased any of there albums. FM radio, back then, played them so much,it was enough to over dose. I was sitting at bar, not long ago and "Spirits in the material world" was playing(There is no political solution....). What a great song and a killer bass line and drums. I began my search for a "best of" remaster. I looked at the pricey "Message in a box", box set. I then, found this 2-disc package, just titled The Police. It is a little light in liner notes and pictures, but every song I wanted was included. You can not beat the price for this many killer songs. These albums were well engineered and still sound great. Sting got all the attention, but Stewart Copeland, in my book is one the best drummers around. I read ... I always liked The Police during there time as a group. The Police Still Rock
Message in a Bottle, Canary in a Coalmine, So Lonely. What else do you want? Very little slow stuff and all the great early stuff by this iconic band. !4 songs that have been in my truck for a month and I hardly listen to the radio. The Police all the time...and I was never a huge fan. Just liked a couple songs.

this is a very good cd . the band of course is legendary. the cd has all the hits too! they were few instances where I felt a song was left off that should be in there ( "born in the 50's" was always a fave of mine-it's not on here. ) great cd!
