A lot of fun for a little money!
No, it's not the sharpest lens in the world. But it is lightweight and small and can fit in a side-pocket of your camera bag, so you're never without it! It can be a lot of fun in tight quarters, and will do a credible job if cropped. Without cropping, expect the corners to go soft and to have purple fringing. I'll often whip it out for a couple "context-establishing" shots, before getting on with whatever I set out to shoot. Those shots often prove useful when reviewing things later! PROS: light, small, cheap. You're likely to have it with you, instead of deciding, "I'm going to do fisheye today," and hauling around a big, heavy lens that you might not even use. CONS: Only passable image quality. Plastic construction. Single, fixed ƒ-stop. No electronic communication with body; you ... No, it's not the sharpest lens in the world. If you're going to have a lens cap, why not use one that can do something!
I have both versions of the body cap lenses (15mm ƒ/8 body cap lens and this one (9mm F8.0). I actually prefer this one because it adds an ultra wide lens that I don't have in my inventory. I like them both, but this one is a bit better for me. :-)

Nice addition for the price
The images are OK but not outstanding. Still for less than $100 its another tool and has it's own "look". The lack of an adjustable aperture is a negative but at the end of the day it just isn't a big deal.
