The design is just great.
Its just like a stand should be. The design makes set up so fast you will beat the rest of the band setting up. I have used it for keyboards for a long time, but I needed one for my new DJ setup. Because this one came with the longer arms my Numark NS7 III worked really well on top of it. I also bought a Ultimate Support HyperMount QR and that screwed right into the top of this PRO version. It makes everything easy to reach and play. I set mine up so I can stand rather than sit behind it, but, the height is very adjustable on both tiers. Let me just say after having a "Cage" setup which took up half the stage years ago, I got the first one of these and it not only gave me and everyone else more room, it cut my setup time from 30 minutes (or more) to less than 10 minutes. Keep it in the bag ... Its just like a stand should be. The design makes set up so fast you will beat the rest of the band setting up. Does the trick!
The support legs were a bit cluncky to operate, and the mic arm could be a little more flexible for set up, but overall it's an excellent keyboard stand. I like the carry bag and it seems rather sturdy, but time will tell. It was easy to unpack and set up right away, which is always a benefit at gigs. I recommend!

Ultimate Keyboard Stand.
This product is Awesome in many ways, and I love it. By looking at it in the picture, I questioned it's stability. I have 2 full size 88 key - heavy - keyboards, and it supported them both easily and very stable. The designer of this thought of almost everything. It folds up easily and quickly. It's fairly light and comes with a case for easy storage and lifting. Has little cable guides to hide and protect your damper pedal / AC / mic cables.... It all folds back into itself so you can't lose pieces. It looks great and professional on stage. I have a couple others that went into my practice room, but this is for playing out! Love this compact stand!
On my 4th Apex stand since they first came out! I do one night gigs 200 nights a year and wouldn’t use anything else. The mic boom is better made than older models. Best price I have found for new model including bag and boom.
