Easy, simple to setup and powerful
Easy to setup. The little LCD screen is actually quite useful. I connected the USB cable (standard USB port rather than APC proprietary port) and got Network UPS Tools working around 10 mins later. The battery seems to be able to keep a FreeNAS server with six 4TB Ironwolf disks (80-100W) AND an ESXI server (80W) running for at least 45 mins. I got bored waiting and went back to mains power. It's chunky, but I like it. I'll happily buy another one and run a desktop PC off it.Easy to setup. The little LCD screen is actually quite useful. Great product, and works well the AP9630 net management card
The best UPS, using it with the optional extra AP9630 Network Management Card. My NAS devices & Mac computers are using the network comms to shutdown in the event of power loss, and a USB connection from the APC UPS to another computer is also working well. No need to install extra s/w in Mac's and Synology products, very cool. It just works.
