I'd use a translator app out of convenience, but it's still a valuable tool
A handy little book for a holiday abroad, mainly in portugal or brazil probably less helpful in japan. Spells out phrases into plain English as you'd expect from a phrase book and has a decent sized dictionary in the back. it's main feature is that it's quite compact, it measures in at 4x6 inches so will fit in most pockets or handbags so is readily available, it has a total 186 pages although the print is quite small so not ideal if you have poor eye-sight features as described by cover: "*A-Z listing of sections for easy use *sections include accomadation, doctor, eating out, night life, shopping, tipping, weather *simple pronouciation guide to grammar section *relavent travel tips highlighted throughout *1800 english words and translations most likely to be needed in a trip *40000 ...
