    One of the best smoke alarms that you can buy

    This Alarm is of the preferred optical type This version runs on the mains but also carries a rechargeable battery that gives protection in the event of a power cut. This is the Lithium battery version which is better. The mounting assembly is wired into the mains and fixes to the ceiling. The detector is a seperate assembly and plugs on to the mounting assembly

    Fire alarm

    Its work well through mains plus need lots of smoke to trigger the alarm...but Im very disappointed as rechargeable battery does not charge.. i bought one to try, was gonna get two but the battery is very disappointed..

    Easy to fit new unit into place of previous Kidde smoke alarm. Test procedure directions clear and again easy to carryout giving complete peace of mind for a long time due to the rechargeable battery.

    Life saving bit of kit.

    This could save your life. No messing about with buying batteries every year, as it's fitted with rechargeable lithium cells. I like the green led lighting.

    Simple replacement for old units

    Bought as replacements for old hardwired fireX units and so simple to fit - just needed to replace the old connectors with the new ones supplied with units. Seem to be working ok. Hopefully we will never need them but have confidence they will function as specced.
