This is one of my favorite beginner board books about the seasons...Richard Scarry ROCKS!
I searched and found this exact book on eBay for a great price as a brand new hardcover book. As a daycare provider, I enjoy finding and reading high-quality authors and their work. This story is particularly endearing to children as well as their families. Richard Scarry is one of the first reliable authors of educational books and is still a favorite among the critics. He does it RIGHT. This is an excellent story through and through -- including content, illustrations (also by Scarry) and, a sweet, sweet story-line. Buy this book! Family favorite
Our son loved this book growing up. He had it memorised before he was two. Now they are having a baby so I will pass it on. In the meantime, our daughter had a son and I began reading this to him. Everytime I see him he says, "Nicky!". He's 18 months old, so I bought him his own copy. I don't know how he knew to shorten Nicholas to Nicky, but I'm delighted to read it over and over.
