    "Blinkered" assumption that maybe only Windows users will buy thi

    I specifically looked for the Seagate brand as I had heard good reports of reliability; it seems my information may have been somewhat dated as I have since read some rather more negative reviews. The drive seems to function as it should but my biggest disappointment so far is the lack of supporting information. The printed leaflet enclosed with the drive said very little except, (in various languages)"check out our website for all the info you need". Fair enough; and if I wanted it for backing up a Windows computer I would be perfectly satisfied with all the information offered. As my system is Mac based I am left with virtually no help at all. The whole emphasis seems to be on Windows, with very little Mac specific help at all. Hence my disappointment.

    easy to use, and very reliable

    Hello I was very pleased with the hard drive I purchased that I purchased a second one I purchased the items to send to a friend to record technical information and have it returned to me, The quality of the information recorded fo me was perfect, I can not compare it with others as I was advised to purchase this model which was very cheap on Ebay.     Seagate ST905004EXD101 EXPANSION 500GB

    I tested it in really hard way. Copying and removing loads of data on and from it and there is no problem with transfer. Its smooth and cause absolutely no problems. Connection is stabile and do not jumps like in case of many other expansions. Big advantage is that it doesn’t need power supply thanks to plug and play technology. Big plus for this device. I looks like it will serve for a long time.

    Lots of memory small and compact, good price.

    Have three seagate hard drive's two 500gb and one 320gb,i use one for films one for photo.s & video.s and one for various music etc,their really good value for money and have never had any problems with them, would definitely recomend this product.
