We're very happy with this fire, just what we needed. It came in good time and was very well packaged. Somewhere in transit it had taken a bash, and the bottom of the cardboard was wet and disintegrating (it had been standing in the wet) Someone had put extra cardboard over the damaged area. The heater was not damaged at all, however, some of the polystyrene packaging had broken into little pieces, which had to be thoroughly cleaned from the nooks and crannies in the fire.
